The Gifts of Christmas
Ephesians 6
In a world that is constantly shifting and shaking, the Apostle Paul calls all believers to stand firm, not in their own strength, but in the power of God.
Based on Ephesians 6, our new series will explore what it means to take a stand in Faith, Truth, Righteousness, and Readiness. As we study the Armor of God, we’ll see that we are equipped not merely to survive spiritual battles, but to remain strong and unshaken in the midst of them.
When the enemy comes, we don’t retreat. By standing and fighting in the strength of the Lord, we can experience true Victory in Jesus!
It is our prayer that through the STAND series, each of us will grow in confidence, be empowered in faith, and deepen our devotion and relationship with God.

I believe that God truly wants us to love His church… and in this new series, we will learn together how to be the community God intended us to be. You see.. we don’t just attend church..we are the Church! And loving Jesus means loving His church… because it is the Body of Christ whom He died to redeem. So to love the Church means to value what Jesus values. And when people begin to see the Church biblically…as redeemed people learning to love, forgive, worship, grow, and carry one another through life and mission… I believe it will change everything.

As we continue to grow in our love for the Church… this love is also is expressed through Service and involvement in Ministry. Every believer has been gifted by God not for self-promotion, but for building up the body of Christ. And when we serve one another, (motivated by love and not out of compulsion,) we reflect the Heart of Jesus, who did not come to be served but to serve. So serving in the church is not about filling roles. It is about reflecting Christ’s humility and love, through our actions. It is an honour and a privilege to be able to serve the “King of “Kings. And as a result, the Beauty of the Church becomes visible when ordinary people, use their spiritual gifts to strengthen and bless others, (even though it is often in unseen and sacrificial ways.)

God never intended believers to walk through life alone. Loving the Church means intentionally building relationships, encouraging one another, and creating authentic Christian Community… because Biblical Fellowship is more than knowing peoples names and more than attending Sunday Celebrations. It means sharing life together through prayer, support, accountability, and encouragement. In a disconnected world, the Church can be a powerful witness, when people genuinely love and care for one another. The beauty of the Church is also seen when strangers become family through Christ and begin to live as one! Being connected with one another ensures that no one stands alone.

A Church that truly loves Jesus cannot remain silent about Him! Loving the church ultimately leads us outward, into mission. As we know, the Gospel is the Good News of Jesus Christ: His life, death, and resurrection. However, this message it is meant to be shared with every person.
So Evangelism is not the responsibility of a few folks… but the Calling of the whole Church. And the beauty of the Church reaches its fullest expression, when she becomes a Sending and Witnessing Community, carrying love and hope and healing into a broken world.

A Loving Church is a Generous Church. Giving is not simply a financial practice… it is a spiritual response to God’s compassion and generosity toward us. Therefore, when we give, we declare that our trust is not in material things, but in God’s Provision, His Purposes and His Faithfulness. You see…Generosity fuels the Mission of the Church and meets real needs within the body and beyond it. The Beauty of the Church is also revealed when people hold their Resources loosely and their Purpose tightly… while investing in what has Eternal Value rather than inTemporary Comfort. So as we come to the end of our Series…let us remember that: “We do not love the Church because she is perfect.. but we love the Church because Christ loves the Church!” And we are called to be a Radiant Bride that reflects Jesus and His love to the rest of the world!
